Ported Wedge Box??

I'm looking at a DCON 12 or a SSA E12 and need to build a wedge box for behind my seat. Both subs will be a tight fit but will work. Am i better off just staying with a sealed box or can I build a decent sounding ported box? By adjusting box width I can go as large as 2 cubes if needed.

Yes I meant Sundown. I would definitely consider a ported 10. I imagine the port would have to exit the far side of the box right? I will need some help with the design, like square or round port and position and size?

I've done some calculation on the dcon 10 with a 1.25 ft^3 ported box tuned to 30 hz. the wedge box will leave only 1" between the rear of the sub and the rear wall of the enclosure. Is that ok or do I need a more shallow sub?
