a port and a vent are the same **** thing. What you use to port it doesnt matter. Its the same thing. And sealed=gay

Let's put it this way, a port will be the standard tubes or slot style wood -into- the box. Vented will be just the cut out of the hole in the wood, to escape the air.

OK, I know what to do here. A mod or somebody go through and on EVERY forum make a sticky that says READ THIS BEFORE POSTING/READING ANY POSTS. Inside the post should say DO NOT TAKE ANY ADVICE FROM Below 30. Then noobs will be less easily mislead into believing untrue things stated by Below 30. Oh my god. I can't believe you just compared a subwoofer enclosure to a home heating system.

You just made even more of an *** out of yourself. A heating "vent" also has a length of ducting, so, in essence, is the same as a port that has a certain length to it. So your analogy just backfired.

EDIT: And i noticed that you just edited your post so it doesn't contain the home vent analogy.....i wonder why.
