ported truck box

my friend has 2 12" Infinity Reference subs and wants a ported box for them but the problem is is that it is going in a standard cab dodge 1500 i figured out that a 2.5 cubic ft box could fit back there but i dunno how long the port should be and the port will be a slot port

I just did a comparision for a forum member.

Here is a slot tuned box:

Heres the same sized round ported box.

With the round ported box (non-aero) in this example he could save ~.8 cu/ft at the same tuning frequency.

You will really need to give mor infomation. Because the lenght depends on the internal height of the port. IE for a port that is 13.5" x 3" @ 2.5 cu/ft = ~32" @ 32 Hz

so how long would the port have to be if the box was 15" tall 53 inches wide and 7" deep tuned to 30 Hz it would be 4 inch round port
