Ported sub box design

If anyone could help me in anyway of designing this box, it would be greatly appreciated. I have two RF P212S4 subs in a sealed box and i want to try them out in a shared chamber slot port box, but I've never built one. The width of the box needs to be 39.5", and can be up to 17" tall and 25" deep. I'd rather have it deeper than taller to prevent it from tipping over. I'll be using 3/4" MDF. Also, the displacement of one sub is 0.049ft3.

I have two links to specs of the sub, but they differ in a few areas, such as Qts and Fs, so I'm not sure of which one to trust.

I also have a few questions:

1) In an small/mid-size SUV, should I do sub up, port back? Or maybe both back with the port on one side and the subs on the other? In any case, what is the best exact position for the subs and port?

2) I know it really depends on what you listen to (everything in my case), but should a 35hz tune be alright? Or should I drop it down a little?

3) The sub is recommended 1.75ft3, but crutchfield says anywhere between 1.25 and 2... should I go bigger?

Thanks for any help!

Well I went ahead and designed a box. Again, any input is appreciated

40 x 13 x 19

3.6 cubes @ 35hz, without port volume

4.5 x 11.5 port, 25.25" long

One quick question...

One sub calls for a 4" diameter port, with 11" of length

With two subs, is a 4.5 x 11.5 slot port sufficient?

The port diameter comes out to about 8.1", which is about double the recommended diameter for one sub

I'm really starting to think about two chambers with two ports, as I don't know exactly how to size two subs to a single port with proper surface area
