Ported question

L7, but the W7 is a good woofer.

Do some research.

L7 will get probably get louder, W7 will sound better and still get hella loud.

Depends how much space, money, and power you have, and what your looking for in your system.

the dub 7 is better. it will get louder too a full 1.25" excursion and that is undrerated.

Also depends on box build quality, box type etc.

the dub 7 is better. it will get louder too a full 1.25" excursion and that is undrerated.

Just b/c it has a longer throw and has a JL sticker on it doesn't mean it is a "better" driver. It is all in the install, I bet you 50k I could make a P5 sound better and louder then a W7. It is all in the install!!!!

You may be able to dumb down the W7 to be on the same play ground as the P5, but I can promise you that you can't make a P5 perform as well as a W7 at it's highest potential.
