ported for idmaxx v3 12

i have an infinity amp 1300 rmsat 2 ohms, and i want to build a ported box that will actually sound good on rock and rap( from 25 hz to 70 at least) . Problem is my amp has a bass eq that you can determine where the bass is boosted. this is suppose to act as subsonic filter. Building a ported bow with no subsonic filter is not good.I have a 2007 corolla s and i want to figure out the resonance frequency of my car, i do not know how. Is that important ?

i though ID's always like a sealed box? a bass boost is not a ssf. perhaps your amp does not have a ssf?? unless the manual specifies otherwise...not familiar with that amp. if you tune to around 30-32....you should do fine with out one.

Subsonic filter doesnt cut out the frequencies below, it works just like a crossover. Dont feed the IDMax over 850rms in a ported box. Make a box around 2.3-2.5cft and tune to 28-30hz. I personnaly dont use bass boost, dont really know how ur amp works like that, seems to me u have a bass boost dial and a Subsonic dial that u think is used to change the frequency of the bass boost.

The amp has a high pass dynamic bass optimizer, that is adjustable by 1hz 100 down to 20 . The bass boost is + 12 db and is directly affected by the dbo boosting mainly at 20 to 30 hz, tappering off at 30 hz . i can still put it a seal 1.3 i have that box. and i have a 1.75 tuned to 30 hz .
