portable sirius... Any one tried it?

im pretty tired of my shitty local stations but dont want to pay for subscriptions for each of my cars and the thought of takin it to work is cool. Anyone try it or know any of its ups and downs? I was lookin at one of the stiletto players.

also, so it has to run off of some sort of antenna then? I couldnt use ear buds?

i have a sirius stilleto and love it. also can be used as a walkman with the antenna headphones.

the stilleto can be used to record also like a tivo

i have the car kit for my work truck

i have the boom box at home so i can listen in the house and take to the beach

I haven't listed it for sale yet....but you'll have to use the set of headphones...they are compact that are made for it...I think they cost me $40 maybe more due to the antenna being built in...

and to use it in the car ill have to have a dock setup? even though its suppose to be portable?

Have a portable xm. Only thing I can say is it drops the signal a lot if you live around buildings. I try to go walking around with it, and it's can be hard in some spots.
