Port size/area for 12" Type R...

Hey guys, I know I'm a noob but I've been all over the site trying to learn as much as I can. I've got a 12" Alpine Type R that I'm looking to put in a ported enclosure for my ext. cab S-10. I attached my plans for a box without a port but that's what I'm stuck on....the port. I'm looking for a good sounding/hard hitting daily driver. From my calculating, the box is 2.76 ft^3 without driver displacement. I was looking to tune it around 33-34 hertz. Can anybody help me out with the size of the port. What do you think of the plans?!? Is it going to work? Thanks for any help.

28-35 depends on the box

trying to get the best sq, lows, and power handling out of them ? 2.2 @ 32 with 28 inches port area. 1000rms

trying to get them loud as possible with 800w or less? up to 3ft, tuned to 34-36 tops, 35 in port area

this is from my short (40 type r boxes) experience
