port question

since it wouldnt let me post in my first topic i had to start a new one. my ports are made of abs and i used duct tape to hold most of it together but on one spot i have to use some kind of adhesive. whats the best thing to use for abs? plastic weld? Permatex 84115 PermaPoxy 5 Minute Plastic Weld -- Crme

^^^x2 thats what i use....PVC glue...the two lil can with the cotton swabs on the dipstick. comes with blue primer and the glue in another LOL

ABS/PVC Cement.

You can get primer and glue at Lowes for ~$8. The cans come w/ a little swab attached to the lids.

Prime both the port tube and the collar. They apply glue all the way around both the tube and collar. Quickly (within a few sec) push the 2 pieces together until they bottom out and turn 1/4 turn.
