Port or not to Port? one JL 12 w6

I have one JL 12 inch w6 VERSION 1, and a JL 250/1 amp. It is in the trunk of a neon. Right now its in a sealed box, built to JL specifications. It sounds good, but i was wondering... would ported be louder? better? for my situation... i dont know... any input would be helpfull. Thanks =)

Ported will give you more SPL, but you'll lose some of your SQ.

Put it in a 4 cube box (3 after dis) and tune to 35hz.....they sound preaty nice and get hella loud.
