I was planning on running a round port 4" in diameter about 5" long and it would tune my box to 32Hz atleast thats what the port calculator said. Any suggestions on how to port this to 32Hz using a square port. The box is 4.2 cuft without the port Thanks in advance really need to clear this up got my sub and amp in the mail today and its real purty. Just need some help with the box. By the way its a 15" SX on a Viper 1200.1 cant wait //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

Width dont matter but heighth around 19" maybe like 19HX3WX??D The max depth is 12" unless the port went down and to the side thanks for your input.

i got 27.9 inches in port length if you went 19x3 with 4.2 cubes. a vent 12x2 would have a length of 10 inches. which would probably fit your needs.

Assuming he uses 3/4" material, he would need the following:

19" x 3" x 28" Port: .401 ft^3 (692.92 in^3)

12" x 2" x 10" Port: .025 ft^3 (43.2 in ^3)

Total Volume with 19" x 3" x 28" Port: 4.6 ft^3

Total Volume with 12" x 2" x 10" Port: 4.225 ft^3
