what part of the port is measured to acquire the port length?

The12v.com says that a 3.0625 cube box with 6.33 port dia. needs 22 in port length...

RE says that I need 27in.

we cant help you without

1) knowing whether that 6.33 port diameter applies to a round port or a slot port (ie, is there a missing dimension)

2) what tuning you're are aiming for

"slot port" using the outside, "side," wall as a side of the port.

I am aiming for about 32hz
