Port help

Alight I have 5.38 cubes after displacements other than port. Im using an 8'' port. I put 12.75'' of port inside the box and that leaves me right at 5 cubes after its displacement. I then have 7.8'' of port outside the box. I want to tune to 32hz and I think I have too much port on the outside. 12.75'' is my max inside so that I can have 8'' between bottom of box and port for it to vent. Any help? This is my first time building a box and using tube ports. I already have the port in, but I can cut it easy.

Thinking im tuned hella low //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Here are the internal dimensions:

Top Height - 10.5''

Length - 45''

Height - 20.5''

Bottom Height - 12.25''

That is for the total air inside the box. The sub takes up .25 cubes of displacment and I beleive the port takes up .38 cubes. Bracing isnt much of a factor since its just a little bit of small threaded rod. The port outside the box is actally 7''

edit - been helped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifhttp://www.mwcaraudio.net/forum/showthread.php?p=15458#post15458

Sitting at 29hz right now...i play decafs chopped/screwed songs and I dont think alot of them dip down under 30hz if they do its breif. Will raising to 32hz be an audiable difference?
