port firing in trunk cars...

Im trying to design a box that is EASY to build in trunk, and I have that part under control. My problem is the port. I have a step up about 13 inches from the baffle, which ruins any hope of a vertical port.

I could possibly run with something more square, but the air space under it (as it woul dbe at the top of the box) would be worthless right? Or would this still be fine? Another option is to fire the port in cabin, and sub in trunk. I cant fire everything into the cabin either.

i used to have a box for two L7 15's where the subs fired back and port into the cabin.. it worked fine

you could yank he rear speakers and fire the ports in through the rear speaker locations...rear speakers are pretty much useless for a proper soundstage....

yah, i could....but that leaves me with only 2 aero's right? or you mean just fire it like that with a large slot?
