how far away do i have to keep my port from seats, and walls

You dont HAVE to keep it away from them. Its better to do so though. Port noise and reduced performance can result from it.

Now to answer your question...a good 4-5" would be good and a little more would be ideal IMO.

 
ya i was just wondering because i have a litte hatch in my rear seats that folds down into the trunk. and was thinking i could leave that down most of the time and have it fire through there directly into the cabin, but i didnt know if i could cause when i fold it back up i only have like 1"-2". would that also reduce vibration/pressure in the trunk, if i had the port emptying into the cabin?
