Port aim in trunk

To answer your question yes you will see an considerably loss an gain it all depends on your box building skills. I have seen boxes that were built to the peak of that vehicle in many different ways an the gains or loses was either 2-3 DBS off or over. It's really in what you want to do. If your talking daily then yea u will also in the rattle of your shit outside the car.

ok so ill just point it up. doubt ill have that many rattles with all the damp pro i have back there.

so what youre saying is it wont be a big difference as long as i make my box to the right specs?

I never pointed on up but the loudest I have done was port to the side on mic but on daily sub up port back sounded better. But far as it matters as box built yea build it to spec an make sure you have enogh port area an you should be gravey

point up is not a good idea. either point to the side with plenty of clearance from the side wall, or have you box all the way back (by the bumper) and point the port into the cabin
Well this box will go from my seats all the way to the trunk lid but I will have like 3 inches between the bottom of the box to the trunk lid. So not alot of space if I port back

or I have 1 foot or so if I port towards the passenger side

which one? Pros cons?
