popping noise????

i have a popping nosie coming out of my sub when the amp is turned on and no rcas in it? what could be the problem, it just out of no where started doin it last night after i left my buddies house.and it worked fine 5mins before i left when i was showing them.

i'd start at your ground and power wire for the amp.

ok col,i figured that cause it did it after i ran off the curb .

Also check your remote wire, and make sure it's hooked up to the proper wire coming from your deck.

low voltage can cause that. quick check with a dmm will tell you.

pretty sure it is, used the same remote for a different amp and it worked fine.

pretty sure voltage wasnt low, but can check was i get back to collage tomorrow since the dmm is there

well i re ran a new power wire and hooked everthing back up and when i turned on the cd player i blew a couple diodes in it, what would cause this
