Popping fuses

I'm running a Skar audio sk2500.1 at 1ohm on a pair of ddx's with an energie pb2800 battery in the rear and my having trouble with it messing up fuse holders.. It's not actually blowing the fuse, I'm running 0awg with a 150amp anl fuse. The first one it left a little burn spot on the side of the fuse holder and quit working again it never actually blew the fuse with that holder so I bought a new one same size 150amp anl changed everything worked good for a while and all of a sudden quit one day that fuse holder looked like it had condensation inside it but that's not possible it was inside the car the entire time.. And the little section of wire coming off the fuse holder in each direction was warm but by the amp and battery it was still cool, I don't understand. I run it direct with no fuse not a problem at all the wire doesn't get warm the amp stays cool. And also I've never had the fuse under the hood in between battery to battery blow it's always stayed good and is also a 150amp anl.. I hope someone can charm in here and tell me what's going on! Would prefer to have a fuse between that secondary battery and amp

Either you are using cheap fuse holder, connections arent tight, your primary amplifier ground is not good or that battery you are using in the back is causing some voltage issues.

Yeah, loose connections cause heat. Make sure everything is properly tightened. A loose fuse created enough heat to melt my fuse holder without blowing the fuse.

What kind of wire is it? CCA or OFC? If it's old there may be corrosion under the insulation that's adding resistance and making heat
