Popeye's vs. KFC

i don't have a popeye's in my little town...

i do, howerever, have church's and kfc.

church's > kfc

once while in pomona california, i had pioneer chicken. it was the best chicken joint i think i've even had the priviledge to take-out.

And about chicken Popeye's spicy> KFC> Church's (cuz its pretty ghetto where im at, and tastes like fried buttocks)

But i think KFC's cole slaw, biscuits (and i love ma' biscuits!), and taters are teh shiznitty dawg! (please disregard the "dawg")

And long john silvers is teh pwnage... i loves me some seafood!

I think it depends on what you're after.

Church's is so freggin' greasy (at least the ones here) that you almost literally have to wring the piece of chicken out like you would a wet rag before you can eat it or else it will drip chicken grease all over you as you attempt to consume it. No bloody thank you, says Prowler. [/story]

Popeye's, in my humble opinion, has better chicken than KFC. The spicy could be spicier but it has rockin' flavor so to me, + 1 Popeye's.

The jambalaya rocks, too. +1 Popeye's.

Almost every time I order them the cajun rice and the red beans&rice leave much to be desired and made at home from a Tony Chachere's premixed box is 50 times better. No points there. Popeye's fries **** ass, too. 0 points there.

I like the strips from both but Popeye's has more varieties of them so +1 Popeye's for strips.

KFC has better wings (Honey BBQ, Buffalo, plain, whatever variety you like KFC's are better to me) +1 KFC

KFC Mac-N-Cheese FTW. PERIOD. +1 KFC

I don't know about the coleslaw as I hate cabbage so no comparison there from me.

KFC Snackers rock. +1 KFC

All in all looks pretty even to me ~ just depends on what you're after at the time.

Close call but I gotta go with Popeyes, them dam red beans & rice is slammin', the biscuits too. The chicken is pretty good, but I think KFC's chicken is better but I don't care for KFC's sides. But no chicken place yet has started serving red Kool-Aid! How can you eat fried chicken with no dam red Kool-Aid, WTF!

Prowler I have been sayin' that about Church's for years, glad to hear it's not just me.
