Pop noise when radio is shutting off?

When I turn my radio off, my inside speakers go "pop" (single pop). I do have an amplifier hooked up to them (inside speakers). I don't have any alternator whine, and I can turn it up pretty loud without the amp shutting off, or distortion, so I don't think it's a bad ground. Any ideas?

PS. The pop doesn't come from music, it's just the second after the radio is off (or during it's turning off) it'll just go "pop!" as if announcing.. "yeah i just shut off", lol.

did you have an amp that is generally known for powering subs instead? I'm powering them with a kicker amp, however I have the crossover set to hi.

i had a pop sound everytime i changed the song or turned the volume on. i turned out being my rca inputs in my HU

You're getting some form of feedback either from your HU or your RCAs. If it works, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's not going to ruin anything

it was a mono amp powering a sub . everything was hooked up correctly. i got rid of it

i'll try with a different set of RCA's... if that doesn't fix the problem, then it should be the amp?

I had the issue when I turned my deck on, I replaced the RCA and re-did the wiring harness and ground and havent had an issue since

If testing another pair of RCAs doesn't work look to the HU.
