Pontiac Torrent Dimmer Trigger?

Feel like a tard. I've been blessed with a Torrent that doesn't have OnStar or an amplified system so the aftermarket swap was a breeze, all with the exception of finding the dimmer trigger. The display is way to bright on the 800PRS to let this go, anyone know which wire it is?

I can see now that there is no dimmer trigger as it is supplied by the aftermarket harness/module.

I guess the next question would be if anyone knows what the Pioneer wants to 'see' for a trigger - positive/negative, how many volts?

+12v is what the deck wants to see to trigger the dimmer. Also check around the cig lighter plug for a dash light. Sometimes the factory puts one around there to see the plug at night. If there is grab a dmm and check for the one that get 12v when you turn the lights on and tap into that.
