its a perfect material to for building subwoofer enclosures just make sure you us it in convination with fiberglass mat. people build fiberglass enclosures all the time.
now are talking about using it in an mdf enclosure? if you are people use it for making strong seems and seals. " fiberglass and resing" the resin alone is not as strong as most people tend to think. but used properly it will hold its weight.
Polyethylene resin or polyester resin ? Polyester resin would be fine for an enclosure with mat . But polyethylene resin is basically a plastic resin used for blow molding . Don't think it would work to well , unless you used really, really thick . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yes I was talking polyethylene resin. I found a nice custom sub box for my truck on ebay made out of the stuff but hearing this I will stay far away from it.
So it's basically just platic then . I think the mtx thunderforms , and q-logics are made of the same stuff . Not saying it won't work . But the one's I have heard needed stiffening , and deadening bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
