polycarbonate vs acrylic

Plexiglas by definition is acrylic. Lexan is polycarbonate. Both are trademark names of the respective materials. Rigidity is about the same as is clarity. I like acrylic simply because it's easier to work with. The edges can be polished. Scratches can be buffed out. It can be heated and shaped. It's easy to cut and drill with normal tools.
