personally, polk owns at home audio, but their ca drivers are kinda muddy and dont have the impact that u can get for the same money. they are HIGHLY underrated though. good buy if u know how polk sounds.

eh wte. i think theyre kinda muddy though. just don't audition them at circuit city. when a guy tells u the kappa perfect is the loudest driver out at the moment, they dont know wtf theyre talking about. besides, people push on the cones

I have a friend that has one. Its not bad, its not getting full power and its pertty loud. He has it in the prefab box thay fist came in. I myself dont like it. It sounds muddy..Like he sed

i had dx 12's and i kinda wish i didnt sell them. they were good sounding, got pretty loud and were able to take a hell of a lot of abuse. i'd buy polk stuff again.

i purchased 2 of these subs for 170 shipped at cc. its descent.. i dint like the sq that much so i upgraded to w3s. then i upgraded to the xxx. they get real loud tho. i dint like sq that much... lows suffered but as it got higher it was nicer.
