polk 6.5" db 651's

anyone heard these before or currently using them? there was the 651 and 651 i know they vary in watts by like 20 and didnt know which was better ?i'm looking for just a good set for my rears (already have my front components) and wasn't sure how good these are.

I like the polks. Have the older db650 in one of my cars in the front, and they sound quite good for coaxials. They would make a great pair for the rears. In fact, I am planning to put the MM651 in the rears this time (in another car), as they supposedly have better mid-bass than the db's. And the price difference is not huge if u get it from an online store (they are $115 compared to $70 for db).

I agree, those polks are nice. I use the db's for rear fill. No complaints.

I used to use polk db 6x9 in rear. Great coaxial speaker. I miss them

I've also used the dB650's and a few DOA guys run the 651 comps for fronts. Nice sounding speakers for the $$$. Not overly bright and decent midbass. Polks are a little brighter then the REV's I run now, but not harsh at all. REV's are a little mellower if you like a laid back tweeter...
