Working scanner in your vehicle, big no-no. Most states require it be inside the trunk or glove box with the batteries removed. I used to be into them before all the cordless phones went above 900mhz and now with the digital forget about it.Larger cities usually have their owns codes and lingo. But all the good shit happens on the secondary channels they use for tactical and personal BS.
