WHat exactly did they do to the crown vics with the police package? How is it different than regular crown vics? Do they get better gas mileage? I'm asking because I can get one with 16k miles pretty cheap.

They get worse gas mileage, if anything...probably a beefed-up suspension and engine.

but they take out the chip, when they sell them
