There are more white people on welfare than black people

Numbers-wise or percentage-wise? I'm not arguing, I'm genuinely curious if you have the stats pulled up in front of you. However, if it's only sheer numbers, it would make sense seing as white people make up roughly 4-5 times more of the population than black people.

Regarding the welfare issue, I looked it up. 38.8% of welfare recipients are white. 37.2% are black. However, black people make up around 11% of the population compared to 40+% made up by whites. So proportionally, about 4 times more black people get welfare than white people.

There are several reasons. White servants were only indentured for 7 years. It was hard to tell them from non-indentured whites. Enslavement of the Indians was too hard because they knew where they were and how to escape. There also weren't enough Indians or indentured whites to comprise a sufficient work force. Black people were enslaved because they posed none of these problems.

However, Africans did not sell their own into slavery. They sold their own slaves, men that had been captured in battles with other tribes, not their own people. Many more were captured by independent slavers.

A man has a right to set the rules in his house and defend his family. Nowhere does it say he shot him because he was black but because of altercations. You just assume it's a black/white thing but they guy could have just been a scumbag who wouldn't leave his daughter alone. If this dude was white then everyone would move past this and investigate the actual issues that cause the violence.

People are two simpleminded to get past the initial broad-based reasoning that put on things. "Ah it's a white guy shooting a black guy so it must be over race."
