I can't think of a time that I have had more than 40 PMs stacked up at one time and having that many irritated me to the point that I had to do a bit of cleaning to get rid of the unnecessary ones.

I suppose it could be handy having the storage space to hold that many but personally I cannot see the need to hang onto that many off-forum messages unless you're chitter-chatting like some junior high students and if that's the case there are a double handful of instant messaging services out there that the executables are free for the taking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I don't much care for the extra PM's. If they are that important, save them on your HD.
