Plunge Router vs. Fixed base Router

I have an old rockwell fixed on a table but bought a new craftsman plunge for freehand. If you look around for used stuff you can pick up two routers for the price of one.

its pretty similarly priced everywhere i got both at parts express, its a better deal for the pair.
