well i finally got done with my box. I was wondering if i could use a plexiglass top instead of wood. Would it make it sound different? thx

if you plan on removing the enitre top of the box for plexi then the plexi is going to need to be quite thick for it is known to flex significantly

i have no knowledge of this stuff...but....flexing=resonating, which = different sound. sometimes at least

I was going to make a box from plexi', but it's about $430 PER SHEET for 3/4" If you can find somewhere to buy less than a sheet it might be worth it, but it's still gonna be a pretty penny.
