Cutout the area where you want the plexiglass and use a router to create a little lip on the wood. Cut the plexiglass to size and attach it to the lip by using screws or some sort of ahedsive. That's how I imagine it's done.

does the plexi need to be the same thickness as the MDF used?
What are you trying to use the plexi for? amp rack, box, or what? If it's for a box, get the thickest plexi and attach it like you were to attach it as a MDF piece.
if you need to keep the strength then use a double mdf baffle with 3/4 plexi in the cutout

I'm going to have the sub fire into the cabin...so I sorta want a window of some sort so that the magnet/basket of my sub is visible. The interior of the box will be illuminated by a few neons.

Hmmm...power will be the same as I have it now...so roughly ~800 to my sub. Box volume will also be kept the same at 2.0 net for my RLp 15. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The panel, not too sure yet. I don't want it too large to the point it'll may hinder the enclosure's integrity, but not too small where you can't see the sub's motor structure. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of a 15"w x 12"h.
