Plexi amp rack on my roof?

It can be done, but you'll need to make a new headliner and find a way to get a strong mounting point for the rack.

Not going to be worth the time or $ I would say. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Dammn:crap:

Ease of doing it would really depend upon how much support you allready have in the roof in that region. You would probably have to weld in support for that much weight. Your amps would then be mounted upside down though. So the heat sinks would be on bottom. That might be a problem also.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

O shit **** it then. I forgot about the heat sink. Looks like I need to think of something else to make a cool installation for my amps.

What kind of car, and what kind of room, and what part of it are you gonna use for an amp rack ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Expedition. Right now I have the 3rd row down with two 15" L7s back there in a 8.2cubic ft box. I just have the amp laying there and its not that bad it doesn't move or anything but I want to make it look neat. Also I don't really want to drill it to the box.

I have 20" Deep right now to work with and 48"W. Im not sure where to put the amp rack because I plan on building a huge box that should take up the extra space I have left.

Not to mention that you'd probably need to add fans because the heat sink would be up-side-down.
No a definite, but it would be a good idea just incase.
Yeah I know we just mentioned that, thats why I decided not to do it. Thanks anyways.

You could always mount them on the sides in the rear. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Maybe. Thinking of a different setup to see if that will help.
What do you guys prefer:

two 15" kicker L7s off an Orion 2500

or 1 18" MT off the Orion 2500?
