I have 8.5 available cubes before any displacements.

I have 1500wRMS, and load must be one ohm.

INDICATE YOUR DECISION and explain why. Also suggest a tuning frequency and port area.

CHOICE ONE: Dual SE 15's

CHOICE TWO: Single XXX 18

CHOICE THREE: anything else!

I have a SE 15 now and would not like to decrease in sound quality from the SE 15. The only thing I would like more of is loudness, from the SE 15.

Meaning I want to upgrade, not go down in SQ, and improve SPL.

I would sya another SE sice you already know you like the sound and dual 15's are always bad-***.

But would 1500 be enough for both? Would 1500 be enough for even a single 18" XXX?

i say 1 15" xxx or if you can find it, a 18" (doubt it but its possible)

Yeah.. SE's are rated 600 so I'd be throwing 150RMS+ extra

XXX's are rated 1600, and that's around where I'll be throwing (1500RMS is at 12V i think)

don't be extremely unhappy if you don't get a full 1500 out of the hifonics, they've tended to be slightly overrated and do a lil closeer to 1400 than 1500 fyi

I dont think he has a Hifonics,i think he has the RE 35.1. which would put out more than 1500 i believe.

if u didnt notice, each size has the same rating. bigger sizes usually handle more
