please someone, anyone...

well do you think stock wire will be able to handle like 60-80 watts per speaker? either way, how do i hook it up? This is the last conquest of my car, i know everything else just not this.

you could run the existing from the door to the back of the deck and run new 14-18ga wires back to your amp.....you could just run them with your RCAs to the amp.........or you can rip the old wire out and run new from the mids to the back...the problem with that is you will have to do something with the wires when you sell the car........or not.......

yupp it should...i ran 75 Watts of RF power with stock wire and it was fine

ok so you are using the JBL 80.4 ? correct ?

on one side of your amp...you will see a block that says "speaker outputs"

also u will see "front" and "rear"

with me so far ?

Originally posted by mgaidica correct, im guessing you lead those to the 2 RCA inputs in the HU, i just need to know how to get the wires to the amp, but go on if thats what your getting to....
no no no....the speaker outputs on the amp are for your speakers

where is your amp ?

so channels are the same as speaker outputs? my amp is in the sotre waiting for me to buy it as of now. I know i will encounter these problems though, well go on with your explanation, i got the speaker outputs...

ok an easy way...what i did in my car was...

when u put in the amp....get some speaker wire...and mark them off...mark of the FRONT LEFT, FRONT RIGHT, REAR LEFT and REAR RIGHT

connect them to the corresponding terminals on your amp

then run them up to your HU

and disconnect your stock speakers from your HU....and then connect the wires coming from the amp...to the correspongin speaker

understand ?

how do i get the wire from inside the door to the negative and possitve channels of the amp? I get how to wire the amp to the HU and all that, but i need to know how to physically get the speaker wire to the amp.
