Please share some modern looking, contemporary subwoofer box designs

Hi,

So Im thinking to redesign my current sub enclosure because the volume is too small. I'd like to go with something between 1.25 to 1.5 cu.ft sealed for my JL 12W6V2.

I find the typical sealed box design with carpet and a metal grill very boring and ugly, so I was hoping maybe you guys know of any modern/contemporary looking subwoofer box designs for me to look at for ideas. Im trying to go for a clean look. So far, my favorite is the subwoofer of the Sony HT-CT500:

I really like the look of the grill and how it is flush, and Im thinking that might be something Ill try to recreate. I think wrapping the box with carpet looks a bit rough, maybe you guys can suggest a good durable material (cloth, plastic?) to wrap the box with instead?

I personally like the subtleness of these enclosures.
