Please recommend me some speakers

I need a pair of 4" speakers and a pair of 6"x9" speakers.

I looked on ebay and saw some fantastic deals, but the shipping would kill the deal (usually $15-$25 for shipping)

I looked at onlinecarstereo.com and they have some good speakers on sale, as well as 'spend $99+ and get free shipping'

Could you please recommend me a certain brand of speaker, or perhaps a certain model that you think is good?

For 4" i'm hoping to spend no more than $70 (i want some good ones)

For 6"x9" i'm hoping to spend no more than $70

but i'm needing 4", no 4"x6", and i'm not wanting to spend very much on the 6x9s (not $120)

those XS-V6935X looks exellent, and i saw them on ebay for a mere $35!

does it make a huge difference between 3-way speakers and 4-way speakers? those 4 ways looks excellent.

Ooh, nice. Those infinitys seem powerful

I've been told to not get sony before, but those 4 way sonys look good.

That Infinity 6x9 is only 2 way, you think that it matters very much? i'm hoping to get bass out of my 6x9 and mids/highs in my front 4" speakers

oh and if it matters any, i just got a pioneer DEH 4600 head unit, and wont be installing my AMP and subs for awhile (maybe 6 months)

why dont you get bass from a sub...? my rear stage is basicly a curtesy for anyone that sits in the back seat, cause I can barely hear them...

well i had this honda civic and it had pioneer 6x9's in the rear deck. man did those puppies pound with only 23w rms( from my h/u) i really didnt need a sub since the 6x9's supplied the bass just fine.

a sub,amp,wiring and box are alot more money than good 6x9's.

but if you already have a sub just get some 6 1/2's. there better sounding.

i can spend $10 more @ onlinecarstereo.com and get the same thing, i'd rather buy through an online dealer that i can trust.

Those Pioneers look pretty good....not too expensive.

I basically want some 6x9s that put out bass. I wont be getting a subwoofer (i have an AMP) for awhile. So i want something with bass. For the front 4" speakers i just need highs and mids

i've been hearing a lot of "the read [6x9s] would just be for rear fill and i dont even need them" i guess i just need some 4" speaks?
