I believe the newer models are rated for 1000rms. They can probably handle a bit more if your not clipping.....
besides if you got a 1200 watt rms amp. You wouldn't have to turn the gains all the way up...

how high the amp goes up is technically not dependent on what amp you have...But i see your point

I've never used those, but if their lower line are good, i can't imagine those to be slouches either.

I believe the 2006 line and up are the ones that do rated power. So yes, they do rated power. I'd go with the BXi line though, just because i'm paranoid like that. The TXi is the lower line, so it might not do rated power/ be as reliable. That's just my thinking though

Depends on which Hifonics amp you get.... From personal use the brutus is definatly a good amp and does what its rated for or maybe a little less. Haven't heard great things about the other hifonics amps but I had a bxi2006d and it was amazing....stick with the bxi line ^^^^

i think ebay is your best bet, you can always try online retailers like Ikesound, hifisoundconnection, or sonicelectronix. But those are hit and miss and some have good experience others hate them with a passion. Luck of the draw mostly.

If you use Ebay at least paypal will protect you...somewhat
