Please list all know no's so I dont cause a short out while doing my Big 3. Also does it matter if the wire terminal is bigger on my wire going from my battery + to alternator + than the stock battery to atlernator wire terminal... J us t being cautious as I have been shocked before by an arching 220 amps before.... Also on crutchfields web site they say doing this upgrade has a possibility of just making the power loss worse....

As for terminals, it shouldn't matter what size you have, just make sure that your wire is snug and will bolt on without any problems. Disconnect your ground to your battery, that way it wont arc or anything. I wouldn't listen to crutchfield, just make sure that you have battery reserve.

No, Crutchfield is generally knowledgable. I'm sure you are interpreting it wrong, or leaving out the rest of that sentence or paragraph where they say that. This does have the potential to make voltage drop worse, as there is less resistance, and your amp may be able to pull more from a small failing alt/battery.

That's what Crutchfield said. That's why I said "just make sure that you have battery reserve"

Are your headlights dimming with that current setup? Just get a yellow top and maybe do the big 3 and I bet you'll be golden.
