Alright I will try to explain this the best that i can. I have a 1992 Honda Accord. Right now the trunk is completely stripped (no carpet). I just purchased 3 12" L7's. This is my idea... I want to completely carpet the trunk. There is a thick piece of wood covering where the compartment where my doughnut is. I want to know if I could cut a piece of MDF or any other material to fit the shape, and place the subwoofers (magnet) into the "compartment" where my doughnut is.... Let me know if you think it would sound good

I have a box for them but i wanted to do something unique with them. Aren't they free air speakers?

if you fiberglass the well where the wheel is and remove the wheel and put a baffle across the top yea you can use it for a speaker enclosure, why wouldnt you?

but i daresay you will only be able to fit one of them in there to be quite honest...
