yeah so im on vacation for 2 weeks and noting really to do. im thinking that i want to build my box myself. as long as i have some good guidance i should be able to pull it off. gonnna need advice on porting it though. kind and hz to tune to. trying to get loud so thinking somewhere around 35-40 hz maybe..........? the box is for 2 rd alpha 12''s and a memphis 4k amp. it is going in a 2007 f150 reg cab truck, thats why i cant use any of the already posted designs on the sticky. advice from all of you really smart guys would be appreciated. the dimensions are 59'' long, 29'' high and 14'' bottom depth angling up to 10'' top depth

okay so my little box design didnt make it but you guys know how truck boxes look. need to know how to do bracings in it also.

you can go with a top firing port. if you did 60sq" (8.5 x 7) it would need to be 10.75" long to be tuned to 40hz.

as for bracing, wooded dowels are my personal favorite. all you would need to de is between the front and back. the port walls may add support as well.
