i recently received a black kicker L5 in a custom box from a friend..... i have a audiobahn A8000t mono amp....which runs 400 watts rms to 1 channel..... when i hooked the kicker sub up to it.... only very light bass would come from it until i put the volume above 20 ..... the bass sounded off beat ...... then when i lowered the volume back down the sub would cut off.... i went in my trunk b/c it sounded like it was getting stuck.... i tried to push the speaker in a lil bit and it wouldnt budge... does any1 know whats wrong with it?

Burnt voice coil?

Probably a burnt voice coil. It is also possible that it was droped and the back plate came loose, causing it to get stuck.

Pretty much if you can't get movment from lightly pressing the cone it is crapped out.
