Please help with tuning amp....

I recently installed an Alpine h/u, A set of components up front(6" midd an 1" tweet), 2 6x9's in rear deck and 2 12" JLAudio W6's in a sealed box to specs.(the JL's are the older discont. models 300rms 600 max. I am running the highs and mids off a 4 ch infinity amp and the subs on a Cadence 1200watt mono amp. the subs are wired in parrallel with all positives to positives and vice versa. It sounds like CRAP!!! my highs and mids are good its the subs that are nott performing to par. What should i set all the filters and gain too? there is also a swith to change it from 0 to 180 phase shift? there is a gain(also have controll up front) Low pass filter, and bass boost? Also what about the settings on the deck? there is soooo many? Please any help would be GREATLY helpfull. Thaanks. Also this is all in a 1997 cadillac seville.
