PLEASE HELP! Speakers cut out while Bass keeps playing at random times.

When i power on my system i hear the speakers cut out and only the subwoofer plays during a song. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it wont regardless of wether i mess with the connections or not. All connections seem to be fine.

Make sure none of your speaker connections are grounding out and that they are properly connected.

well i would check the wires that come from the speakers to the amp one could be pinched and cause them to cut in out and i had the problem with my truck after i re did it and one wire was pinched and groundin out and caused all the speakers on that amp to cut off

Does the comp amp cut out or is it just the speakers? Is it grounded properly?

the ground seems to be good. the amp is connected to the sub,battery,and head unit by the rca cables and system control wire. what wire connects the speakers and amp?

Also, you may want to check your voltage and make sure that you're car's electrical is up to par and not getting hammered too hard during bass hits. If you're going below 11 volts then that may be the cause of this.
