PLEASE HELP! Mechman alts

Okay, I just got my alt haven't installed yet but.... The test sheet I got shows the first three show lower amps than stock. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif And MAX power at 8k RPM which my car obviously can't go. It's supposed to be 150a idle, now am I reading the sheet wrong? Please tell me it isn't rated by engine rpm and some other way.

thats 8k rpm alternator pulley speed.. So thats about 1800~2000 engine rpm's. I also thought Mechamn was supposed to make the best alternators with huge output at idle since they have high-tech stators

Read the instructions that came with your alternator. It states that those are alternator rpms not engine rpms. They also give you the formula to convert it. You must measure your pulleys to do so.

Should do its max or close to max at about 2000 engine rpm's.

You can't always say this man. I've seen first hand and heard from people they dont either A; come with instructions, B; come with detailed instructions, C; And don't fit directly in without modifications.

Some people dont even know how to do oil changes in their own vehicles either man.

okay well i was at work and girlfriend was reading it to me silly girl didn't read the instructions. okay thank you very much guys for the quick responses. I'll update you on pics whenever I get this installed hopefully this weekend.

Okay it's me again. My alt (Mechman) pulley ratio is 1.841, so if i divide that by 2500 rpm I get 1357.957632. If I read the instructions right that would mean I need to be at 1300 ENGINE rpm to put out the147.7 correct?
