Ok i want to run my cars HU, speakers and 2 gel batteries with 1 home subwoofer(maybe my car sub but idk if it will sound good) in my bedroom or garage to listen to music. I have a few questions.thanx

1. can i keep the ac to dc converter on while i am listening to music?

2. What size amp converter would i need for say 500rms?

1. yes

2. give or take 2/3 of the fuse rating on the amp

Yes you can. A 30-40 amp power supply would be fine. The bigger the better tho
