Please help me with my new set up.

Hey guys, so I just ordered two 12" type Rs (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14954) and I am wondering what type of amp/cap/box would work best in my car, a '97 Mitsubishi Eclipse. My friend suggested this amp (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15792)and said I should get the loudest/best quality bass from it. Any help would be awesome, thanks. My car is pictured below.

u could go for a mono channel amp......i would put a sundown 1500.

2000 watt Hifonics Brutus can be had for about that much. Would give you 1kw to each type R.

I'd also go with the Hifonics Bxi2008. That's what I'm doing for 2 Type R's.

Thanks guys, I read up on the Hifonics Bxi2008, def. sounds like a solid choice... how about boxes? Should I be looking at ported or sealed?

ya go with the hifonics 2008d i have it on my pair of type Rs and go ported

i had mine on that power for abut 4 months now with out a problem.

the r's can handle a lot more than they are rated for.

shoot me some dimentions of your hatch area and i can design you a box if you wanted to build it yourself, or i could build/ship it to you as well.
