Please help me pick out speakers for my car!

Hey guys I am new on here and havent been searching much. I am in search for speakers and an amp for my 2004 neon. The fronts are 6.5 and the rear is 6.9. I have been to cartunes and bestbuy but I am confused on what to buy, so far it looks like apline has decent prices.

Please help me pick out a good priced system that works well all together and well sound good. I also need a radio. Also is door deadening very important to do? If so what stuff do I buy? Thank you!

Like WrenchGuy said, it depends on your budget. Unless you do shopping on ebay, equipment ain't gonna be cheap. It also depends what your more concerned with, sound volume or sound volume with quality. You pretty much get what you pay for. If you're looking for a deck you'll need something with triple pre-outs, after that its pretty much what kind of radio you like. I recently got the Alpine CDA - 9887 and it's working beautifuly if that helps a little. Also the Alpine PDX series 4 channels or 2 channels are very solid speaker amps and they can output the same amount of power at 4 and 2 ohms. As far as speakers go, you can find some pretty decent stuff at Best Buy, but I would try my luck on ebay before spending any serious money in a store. JL Audio and Hertz make some amazing speakers, but like I said, you get what you pay for.

Thanks guys, I am from detroit michigan and I have a regular neon not the srt4.

I am looking for quality and good sound. Right now I just want to replace the stock stuff with some really good speakers. I dont have a tight budget but of course I want to stay cheap within reason.

I sure would! I believe on my neon there is already some little speakers up in the dash, so they can just be replaced

Wel the PG RSD65 comps are the best VALUE out their.. only about 90$ and they sounds really really good. You just have to find them.
