Please help me? First Post?

Hey. THis is my first post and i have ALOT of questions. But first let me tell you a little about what i have. For my 16th birthday i got a brand new 2008 Suzuki SX4 crossover. System sucked (stock) so i upgraded my HU (chineese double din, 7inch touch) and put Alpine conponents in the doors. I needed alot more bass so i just got a Rockersford Fosgate 12" P2 DVC sub (one), a 12" ported box, a four guage amp wiring kit and a Kenwood Class D mono block amp that is putting out 900 RMS @ 2 ohms and 500 RMS @ 4 ohms? I kno that the sub is rated @ 250 RMS..So should i ask the installer to run it in a series @ 8 ohms? Thats what some ppl have told me? Please help me, give me advice, anything tell me what i should do!!!!!!

P.S I got a kinda powerful amp becasue within the nxt 2-3 yrs i plan on upgrading the system. I want to be able to have that option. Some say its heafty and some say its nothing?

BTW KENS AUDIO IS INSATLLING IT IN WARNER ROBINS GA? Good, bad, thoughts??
