hey guys had my first beginner system a while back. Looking to upgrade to the big leagues. Money is not an issue. I don't know enough to the point where I am comfortable making decisions on my own. Idk why but a while back I got my heart set on sundown audio x12 or zv4's(now the zv5). Anyway I have never heard these subs in person but havent heard one negative comment about sundown. But one of my questions is how are these subs regarding sq? I mean I like my music loud af with bass that hits your chest and shakes the car but I don't want it to sound like absolute ****. This guy at this shop I go to alot (I have talked to him a bunch so I am kinda on a personal level with him) keeps pushing phoenix gold elite series. Now i have never heard these subs either but he did demo me with one phoenix gold ti 10 and for a single 10 i was blown away, especially it being the level below the elite series. He said the elite 12s are supid loud and maintain excellent quality. But i keep second guessing myself about whether or not i will get bored of them. Basically i dont want to spend all this money and in 6 months be like meh i want louder. the 2 12s are going in a 1999 jeep cherokee sport. I know this forum is mainly focused on spl and not sq but inputs on both would be great. How does sundown audio perform regarding sq and any opinions on phoenix gold elite 12? 85% of the music i listen to is electronic (house and dubstep) and rap. I like a handful of rock bands. I also know that alot of house songs have high notes in them which is why im concerned that sundown audios subs may not hit them as well. If you guys can please give me some input thatd be great
