Please help me choose the right subwoofer

hey guys had my first beginner system a while back. Looking to upgrade to the big leagues. Money is not an issue. I don't know enough to the point where I am comfortable making decisions on my own. Idk why but a while back I got my heart set on sundown audio x12 or zv4's(now the zv5). Anyway I have never heard these subs in person but havent heard one negative comment about sundown. But one of my questions is how are these subs regarding sq? I mean I like my music loud af with bass that hits your chest and shakes the car but I don't want it to sound like absolute ****. This guy at this shop I go to alot (I have talked to him a bunch so I am kinda on a personal level with him) keeps pushing phoenix gold elite series. Now i have never heard these subs either but he did demo me with one phoenix gold ti 10 and for a single 10 i was blown away, especially it being the level below the elite series. He said the elite 12s are supid loud and maintain excellent quality. But i keep second guessing myself about whether or not i will get bored of them. Basically i dont want to spend all this money and in 6 months be like meh i want louder. the 2 12s are going in a 1999 jeep cherokee sport. I know this forum is mainly focused on spl and not sq but inputs on both would be great. How does sundown audio perform regarding sq and any opinions on phoenix gold elite 12? 85% of the music i listen to is electronic (house and dubstep) and rap. I like a handful of rock bands. I also know that alot of house songs have high notes in them which is why im concerned that sundown audios subs may not hit them as well. If you guys can please give me some input thatd be great

Sorry about the length.

If money isn't an issue and your trunk can feel the weight of a heavy box, I'd personally go with one 12" in a large box for SQ and SPL (Sound Pressure Level = How far the wave travels) for showing off. I don't think this forum is all about competition-style audio, but more of better aftermarket than your stock. Sometimes - most of the time, adding a subwoofer to the stock system is tight. That's all I'll say.

Bro... Most of us here are above 140db. A lot of us are 150, 155+ db. Definitely not your average joe forum. Just got a lot of beginners clutter with basic question threads. We have SQ competitors as well so dont think we are all about loudness either.

Id get the sundown nightshade v3s with standard/spl surrounds(not the megaroll) over the z series. With a jeep, id say one nsv3 18 on an scv 6k at half ohm should do the job. Youll want a 320 amp or higher alt and either a few ultra capacitor banks if you compete or 3 quality agms if you daily.

Dont skimp on the box design.

Didn't realize this dot com forum was a decibel contest. I wonder how loud I can get with my current setup. I bet around 80dB. Eat it suckas.

its all daily music setups but that can do numbers as well so best of both worlds. you got guys that live, breath and sometimes sleep with car audio(no joke slept hugging a giant amp and subs before). There's the right way and then there's the power acoustik in a prefab way lmao.
